These Were Our Favorite Songs as a Kid

Luke Combs shared that his favorite song as a kid was “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman, and that’s why he covered it! Members of The Bobby Bones Show shared what their favorite song as a kid was that they’d choose to cover. Find out their answers below:

  • Eddie - “La Bomba.” When that movie came out it changed his life because there was a man that looked like him that was a rock and roll star and wanted to be Ritchie Valens.

Morgan – “Fancy” by Reba McEntire. Her dad would play every Reba song but this one was on repeat and even their family dog was named Reba. As a kid she did not know the story of “Fancy.”

Lunchbox – “Kokomo” by The Beach Boys. It takes him back to playing house at his cousin's house and they would always play it on road trips.

Raymundo - “Truly Madly Deeply” by Savage Garden. He would sing that song to his middle school girlfriends to get a kiss.

Bobby Bones - “Peaches” by The Presidents of the United States of America. It was his favorite song as a kid growing up.
