The current inflation spike isn't just making things more expensive - it's also affecting the holiday shopping deals we're used to this time of year. Popular gift items like tools, electronics, or clothing are usually discounted anywhere from 6-12 percent during the holiday season - instead, those prices are ticking up by 1-2%. As a result, experts believe that this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts won't be as steep as in past years.
