Tim McGraw Was Nervous On Stage After Seeing Paul McCartney Side Stage

Tim McGraw called into the Bobby Bones Show ahead of his iHeartRadio Music Festival performance next weekend (September 20th-21st). McGraw told us that he just wrapped up working out at his home gym. Despite opening a gym in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year, McGraw opts to workout at his home gym most of the time because it's closer for him to drop off his kids for school.

In talking about iHeartRadio Music Festival moments, McGraw recalls a crazy memory around the event and Paul McCartney. McGraw was performing at the show when he said McCartney, another headliner for the event, was side stage jamming to McGraw's song "BBQ Stain." McGraw typically jumps around during his performances, but after seeing McCartney side stage he thought twice about jumping because if he fell, he didn't want to bust in front of a legend like McCartney.

Bobby Bones asked McGraw his thoughts on "Old Town Road" being considered 'first country/rap collaboration' despite McGraw and rapper Nelly dropping "Over and Over" in 2004. McGraw said that he loves the record "Old Town Road," but he really did love the project he worked on with Nelly. All of this collaboration talk has made him want to bring Nelly back out on the road with him again to perform their song.
