TMSG: Volunteers Build Bunk Beds for Children In Need

The San Antonio chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace has been actively working to craft beds to go to families in need.

The chapter teamed up with Raba Kistner Inc. to provide for these families. They raised approximately $6,000 for bunk bed materials and then spent hours putting together the beds. Eddie Arthur, president of the chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace said that the need came after a few families were given beds and the appreciation of those families.

Many families receiving the beds have been sleeping on the floor. The nonprofit is hoping to accomplish its goal of building 500 beds by the end of the year. They are looking for more donations and volunteers, for those they want to help.
