Lainey Wilson wore a stunning, bold look to the premiere of Reminders of Him on Monday (March 9) in Los Angeles, California.

The reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year walked the red carpet wearing flowing black pants paired with a sheer lace top, complete with dramatic long sleeves and a train cascading behind her. Wilson said as she shared photos on Instagram that it’s “my first feature film I’ve been involved in,” and she said the “incredible team welcomed me into their world with open arms. It was an honor to play a small part. Congratulations to everyone involved!” Reminders of Him premieres in theaters on Friday (March 13), the same day Wilson releases her new single, “Can’t Sit Still.” Scroll below to find more photos of Wilson at the premiere.

Wilson appears in the Reminders of Him cast alongside Maika Monroe, Jennifer RobertsonBradley WhitfordLauren GrahamTyriq WithersRudy PankowNicholas Duvernay and others. The Vanessa Caswill-directed, tragedy-romance film is based on the 2022 novel by bestselling author Colleen Hoover.

“This was the first opportunity I’ve had where I wasn’t a musician,” Wilson said of her Reminders of Him role in a previous interview with iHeartCountry. “And so, I had said after I did Yellowstone, I was like, ‘OK, the next thing I do, I’d like to kind of step outside of my comfort zone and try something I’ve never done.’ So, this gave me an opportunity to do that, and it was fun. It was, you know, I’m not gonna say easy, but it was like a fun challenge. And I’m excited to do more of it, whatever that looks like.”
