Luke Combs will release three new songs as he continues to work on his next studio record.
The country superstar confirmed on Instagram on Tuesday evening (September 30) that he’s “still working on my new album that’ll be out early next year,” but he “couldn’t wait to get y’all some new music.” He’ll release three new tracks — “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes” and “My Kinda Saturday Night” — on a collection titled The Prequel on Friday (October 3). Combs also confirmed in his post that his 2026 tour will be titled after “My Kinda Saturday Night,” and “I’ll have more news on that very soon.”
Combs has recently shared sneak peeks of each song on The Prequel on his social media accounts. He and his wife, Nicole Combs, used “Days Like These” to announce Baby No. 3 is on the way. The North Carolina-born singer-songwriter’s new chapter of music will follow Fathers & Sons, a heartfelt album that arrived in time for Father’s Day last year. That project followed Growin' Up and Gettin' Old, records that made their debut in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Most recently, Combs released “Back in the Saddle” over the summer.
