Chris Lane, Wife Share Surprised Reactions To Baby No. 3's Gender Reveal

Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren Bushnell Lane, shared their sweet gender reveal for Baby No. 3 on Tuesday morning (July 8).

Chris and Lauren sat on a picnic blanket with their two young sons — Dutton Walker, who turned 4 last month, and Baker Weston, who turns 3 later this year — in the clip they posted on Instagram. Lauren asked her sons for their final “votes,” and they both predicted they’d have a baby brother. Lauren agreed with her sons, and Chris predicted Baby No. 3 would be a girl. The family bit into cupcakes together to reveal either blue or pink icing inside. Watch it here:

“Daddy was right! ...It’s a girl!” Chris and Lauren’s sons exclaimed as they called family members on FaceTime to share the news.

Chris and Lauren announced earlier this year that they’re expecting Baby No. 3. Lauren told PEOPLE at that time that she’s “just gonna go with the belief that it was meant to be, and this little human being is meant to be on this earth. I’m kind of glad that we didn’t have to make the decision. It was just decided for us.” Lauren and Chris recently joined podcast host Kaitlyn Bristowe on an episode of Off The Vine, and said at that time that they planned to post a gender reveal “because I feel like otherwise I’ll accidentally say something,” Lauren said. “We did a gender reveal for us two and the boys…just because we feel like they would’ve been really excited.”
